So we are sitting in church today and I am listening to the speaker and my son leans over to me and says "Mom, your feet make you look old, but you aren't old". WOW! He said that my heels are what makes my feet look old. I must be in BAD shape if my 13-year-old son notices!
I tried a free sample of CurĂ©l® foot cream that I had been given but it only lasted a day as it was just a sample. I don't have a lot of time to soak and scrub (though I do scrub them in the shower daily) or to get weekly pedicures (and my nails still look really cute). Anyone got any great ideas for me to have "young" looking feet?????

Jeana told me: Haven't found anything as of yet. I have a coupon for Kerasal, going to get that and try it out this week.
ReplyDeleteNancy told me: The ped-egg. I totally mocked the idea when my husband gave it to me as a gift, but it works. I also am a fan of Auaphor - it is great for elbows, lips, feet and anything that feels dry
ReplyDeleteDonna just told me: Aquaphor by Eucerin!!!!!
ReplyDeleteCindy told me: my feet are making me look old too! I am going to try the Aquaphor as 2 of your friends recommend it. I too use the ped egg"
ReplyDeleteMy friend Heather said: the absolute best remedy is called Body Butter from Bath and Body Works and I have tried everything. It comes in a flat, round tub and is available in all of their signature scents. I had the same problem and now my feet (including heels) are as smooth as a baby's bottom :) I put it on every morning after I shower. Give it a try.

ReplyDeleteGo to the nail spa and get a parafin wax treatment- after the regular pedicure/callous remover etc- it lasts for a long while!
ReplyDeletebtw Lisa- I don't know if you remember me- but we went on the Washington DC trip as youth in like 1984... before you went to Finland... if this is the right Lisa. ;O)

ReplyDeleteI used generic topical clotrimazole (Lotrimin) cream that is used to cure athletes foot. Now I just moisturize my feet everyday with the same lotion I moisturize the rest of my skin Cetaphil. Worked for me.
